Resort de Paskani was definitely one of the resort we enjoyed staying during our visit to Hua Hin. A small boutique resort nearby the Khao Takiab beach, Resort de Paskani is a Santorini-themed hotel with just a little less than 40 rooms. This white-washed resort with turquoise window frames and door has rooms on two floors, the pool level floor which rooms opens up to the pool and the upper floor with rooms having a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. There are also some rooms in the old wing as together with a smaller but must quieter swimming pool.
We had the opportunity to stay in the pool access room as well as the balcony room and I would say it is one of the nicest hotel we come across. The rooms are not overly huge ~ would say in the range of high 20 sqm, simple with furniture build out from concrete. Walls and flooring are white painted concrete with turquoise painted doors and window frames.
Rooms comes with a king size bed and a day bed on the side, fully stocked complimentary mini bar and snacks, a built-in work table, LED and LED TV. Pool level rooms will have a little veranda with a swing chair and you can go down directly to the pool while the upper level rooms have a balcony that overlooks the pool.
The bathroom is of good size and comes with a lovely brass-head rain shower.
The resort has two swimming pool, a smaller and quieter pool in the old wing and a much larger pool in the new wing surrounded by pool-access rooms. There is also a small tanning deck with a number of deck chairs and cabanas over-looking the Gulf of Siam.
Breakfast is served buffet style with mix Thai and Western items with some pretty unique traditional local items on the menu. One of my favorite was definitely the barbeque pork stick with sticky rice for breakfast. The restaurant is not very big and was pretty packed up when we visited, so if the hotel is having high occupancy, do grab your breakfast early.
The hotel also have a community room with game machines, books and complimentary ice-cream after your long hot day out exploring the lovely Hua Hin. The Khao Takiab beach is just a couple minutes walk away and the hotel is nearby to the Cicada and Tamarind Night Market.
Staff were friendly and speaks good English and if you drive, there is a complimentary parking lot beneath the building (or I would say the building is built on top of the parking lot.
I would say Resort de Paskani is a lovely themed boutique hotel and if you do have a chance, give it a try. I love how simple the hotel is, with the built in furnishing, and the lovely swimming pool and its overall environment. I would recommend this resort for honeymooners and friends travelling together .. it is definitely a very instagrammable hotel.
Rates for the hotel starts about RM 300 per night with breakfast for two and complimentary WIFI.
