Chinese smartphone maker, Huawei is set to launch the Huawei P20, the new flagship smartphone on March 27 at the Grand Palais in Paris and according to leaks reported on Slashleaks website, the Huawei P20 is set to be the world’s first smartphone with three main cameras.
Several photos were found published on various websites shows the Huawei P20 with three cameras at the rear, however, no official information on how the three cameras work together or what purpose they serve. There were speculations that the three cameras might be used for color images, black and white and the third as a wide-angle camera.
Huawei has been working with Leica over the past couple of years in creating the best possible camera modules for its smartphones since the P9 in 2016. Huawei is the first manufacturer to introduce the dual-camera smartphone with one camera capturing details while the other capturing its colors.
The P20 is also said to have edge to edge display, one Home button as well as a headphone jack and is expected to be powered by the Kirin 970 processor with 6GB RAM and running on Android 8.1 (Oreo).
